창단 60주년을 맞은 국립오페라단의 레퍼토리 공연 〈왕자 호동〉을 위한 홍보물을 디자인했습니다. 낙랑이 자명고를 찢으며 감내해야 했던 충성과 사랑 사이의 비극적 갈등을 핵심 정서로 삼아, 먹의 질감을 활용해 찢김과 번짐, 균열의 이미지로 인물의 내면을 시각화했습니다. 타이틀은 레터링 기반의 한글 조형을 통해 ‘찢김’, ‘날카로움’, ‘균형을 잃은 긴장감’을 사선의 구조로 표현했습니다.

We designed the promotional materials for Prince Hodong, a repertory opera by the Korea National Opera celebrating its 60th anniversary. At the heart of the visual concept lies the tragic tension between loyalty and love—embodied in the moment Nakrang tears the sacred drum, Jamyeonggo.
The ink textures evoke emotional rupture and collapse through motifs of tearing, smudging, and fracture.
The title typography, created with custom Korean lettering, captures the sharpness and imbalance of that emotional strain through its diagonal, slashed composition.
