영화가 끝난 뒤에도 오랫동안 머무는 잔상을 책이라는 매체에 담기 위해, 우리는 '엔딩 크레딧'을 디자인의 핵심 모티프로 설정했습니다. 매트한 질감의 깊은 블랙 배경과 그 위를 흐르는 화이트 타이포그래피의 대비를 통해, 영화관을 나선 뒤에도 이어지는 사유의 시간을 시각적으로 표현했습니다.
단순한 정보 전달에 그치지 않고, 페이지 곳곳에 영화적 단서들을 배치하여 독자가 글을 읽는 과정이 마치 엔딩 크레딧 속에서 익숙한 이름을 찾아내는 '발견의 경험'이 되도록 설계했습니다.
특히 각 장의 시작인 챕터 디자인은 김중혁 작가의 아날로그적 사유가 담긴 스케치와 메모에서 출발했습니다. 작가의 개성 있는 시선을 문장 단위로 추출하고 이를 이미지 생성 프롬프트로 변환하여, 추상적인 문장을 구체적인 시각 이미지로 구현해 내는 실험적인 과정을 거쳤습니다. 이렇게 탄생한 이미지들은 작가의 기억과 독자의 상상력을 잇는 특별한 연결 고리가 됩니다.

To capture the afterimage of a movie that remains long after the screen goes dark, we established the 'ending credit' as the core motif of this design. Through the contrast of a deep, matte black texture and flowing white typography, we visually translated the contemplative moments that follow the theater experience.
Going beyond mere information delivery, we strategically placed cinematic clues throughout the pages. This ensures that the act of reading becomes an 'experience of discovery,' much like the way a viewer searches for familiar names within a rolling credit sequence.
The chapter designs, in particular, originated from author Kim Jung-hyuk’s analog sketches and personal notes. By extracting his unique perspectives into sentence-level prompts and transforming them through AI, we underwent an experimental process to materialize abstract text into concrete visual imagery. These resulting images serve as a vital bridge, connecting the author’s memories with the reader’s imagination.
